The new 38m Sermac pump in action at Mt White station pouring 58m3 in freezing conditions. This was a joint effort from Firth Darfield which contributed 37m3 and Greymouth plants contributed 21m3 – a great effort from everyone involved.

Pouring around 1870m3 of concrete, JFC Concrete Pumps performed the largest single concrete pour of Canterbury’s rebuild to date.

3 pumps, 2x37m + 1x27m, 1000m3 base slab pour with three layers of different concrete strengths, then three large 890mm thick wall pours with “tremie’s” in two layers.

4 pumps, 2x37m + 2x27m, nine large raft slabs including 2232m3 (NZ Record) over 11 hours. 11000m3 poured in total including Base Columns.
