The team at JFC Pumps have decades of experience in the fast paced concrete pumping industry. We hire the best and most experienced people, along with our in-house training to ensure that our work is done right, on time, on budget and to the strictest safety standards.
Tim Johnstone
- Managing Director and owner of JFC Pumps as a Joint venture with Firth Concrete since forming it in 12/2006.
- Strong background in the Construction Industry since 1977.
- An experienced operator of all vehicles in the fleet.
- Site Safety – Advanced Passport holder.
- On the board for NZ Concrete Contractors.
Neil Davidson
Our Operations Manager, our point of difference, Neil will manage client expectations with our fleet, organise site visits and coordinate our boys and pumps through our day-to-day workload. Neil has decades of experience from the Tyre industry managing a major company and fits into the concrete industry seamlessly. As we put in, living the dream working with Tim to keep the business, the team and keeping everyone on a safety-first philosophy.
Neil is also JFC ‘s Safety Manager, keeping on top of best work practises and promoting safe work sites for our team and clients alike.
John Trounson
- Senior Charge Hand and employed by JFC Pumps since its formation.
- Strong background in the Concrete Industry since 1993.
- Volunteer Fireman since 1993.
- St John’s First Responder holder.
- An experienced operator of all vehicles in fleet.
- Site Safety – Building Construction Passport holder.
Reynante (Rey) Sanchez
- Concrete Pump Operator since 01/2001, employed by JFC Pumps since 06/2016.
- Strong background in Concrete Industry since 2001
- Site Safety – Building Construction Passport holder.
Shane Flattery-Donahue
- 12 years’ experience Concrete Pump operator mainly on our two smaller pumps.
- Construction Site Safe Holder.
- Keen Cricketer and sportsman.
Randy Robson
Ernesto Gongob
Ernesto is our latest recruit having been in NZ since 2018. He has 20 years experience pumping concrete in the Middle east, mostly Qatar and Oman. He is a very experienced operator with time spent on most brands of Concrete Pumps.
Michael Hollinshead
Mike started pumping concrete in 1995 in England and has vast experience on big pours. Mike came to NZ in 2014 and has been involved in many large projects all over the South Island. He operates or Flagship 38m Sermac P219.
Corey Kirkus
This is a new start for Corey having been pumping for 5 years. He was previously a drain-layer before getting the pumping bug.
